About Our Church 

The members and friends of Sierra Evangelical Lutheran Church welcome all persons, regardless of ethnic heritage, religious backgrounds, age, financial situation, etc.

Our (new) Mission Statement:

Trusting in God’s grace, we share Christ’s love with all, so that lives are transformed by the Holy Spirit.

We see ourselves as a caring, growing community of believers, whose purpose is to proclaim and grow the Christian faith, to minister to people in the name of Jesus Christ and to serve our local and global community. We find opportunities through worship and prayer, study, praise, outreach, and fellowship. We provide a sanctuary for prayerful worship within a respectful and welcoming environment.  We strive to meet the spiritual needs of our congregation and our community.
